Brian O’Neill was a huge part of the success of Steel City Hobbies’ R/C Carpet Racetrack. Brian helped with the construction of the area’s largest carpet track, as well as helping to organize events - from club racing to the big nationals held at SCH. We will miss you Brian!

Brian is survived by his wife and two young sons who all frequented SCH. A few local tracks are looking into holding memorial races to help the O’Neill’s out financially, etc.

The racing continued on Sunday with the 4th round of qualifying and then the mains. This was one of the greatest races at SCH to date! The facility is open to spectators for free!
