The Fall / Winter R/C Race Season finished up today with close to 50 entries. Everyone had a great season and a great day of racing. SCH wishes everyone a very Happy New Year and is looking forward to a great 2007 race season with a few big races in the queue! SCH also wants to thank all the racers and patrons who have made SCH one of the greatest places to race R/C cars!

Nitro Mike, Tony, Frank, John, Gary, Julie, Robert, Mike and Ron all wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Today Nitro Mike (NitroClaus) and Michael Rooney stopped by the Steelers training facility located on Pittsburgh South Side to drop off more than a dozen micro helicopters.

Little did NitroMike (pictured above) and Mike R. know what a fun experience this would be in such a short time. …well, Mike R knew what to expect as they sold every last drop of what they had in inventory this day.

NitroMike was busy putting on demonstrations and allowing the players themselves to take test flights of these fun toys which will make great stocking stuffers!

SCH hosted the 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Race on Saturday, December 9th. US Marines and Santa Clause were among the participants at Steel City. This year is your chance to make a difference for the children around the Pittsburgh Metro area! SCH donated a race to all who brought in a toy of equal value for that day. Great food, fun and games were also present on this special day.

December 9^th was a very happy day at SCH. SCH brought in lots and lots of toys for Toys For Tots!

Every Tuesday night is FlyNight.  This particular night we had about a dozen flyers with their E-Flight CX-2′s, CP’s and Align T-REX electric Helicopters.  “This is the greatest” one flyer stated as he hovered while two other flyers were doing the same on the converted Ozite carpet track.

There will be flying this Sunday from 10:00am thru 4:00pm.  Free to watch, $5 to fly!  Stop in to see what all the buzz is about!
