World of Wheels
This year’s World of Wheels was a great success as SCH and Y108 helped raise hundreds for St. Jude. Not only were there full size scale cars, but there were 1/18th scale cars by Team Losi.
Special thanks to Todd Hodge of Team Losi for helping out with this good cause! Mini-T’s were used this year on SCH’s Ozite carpet with a few Road-Rails which made for a pefect racing combination.
The World of Wheels is Pittsburgh’s largest custom car show held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center located downtown. The World of Wheels hours are 3 -10pm Friday, Jan. 19th, 10am – 10pm Saturday, Jan 20th, and 10am – 6pm Sunday, Jan 21st.
Steel City Hobbies helped raise money for Race for the Cure / St. Jude CHildren’s Research Hospital. Race donations totaled $327.00 which was handed off to Y108. SCH donated a few hundered dollars worth of manpower and equipment.
