On Friday, February 2, 2007, Mike Rooney of Steel City Hobbies stopped by the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing on his way to the Snowbird Nationals. The Museum is located off of I-75 in Ocala, FL 352.245.8661. This is a great place for any Drag Racing fan to check out awesome machines from the beginning.

SWAMP RAT 1-B — 1959: Built by Don Garlits in 1959. The museum holds many of Don Garlits’ race cars as well as those of other stars.

The museum also has a nice collection of Classic Automobiles.
