SCH had a great time with the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf’s visit
Deaf Children used R/C cars at SCH’s track for a good time! The SCH staff has plenty of experience with handicapped people and R/C and has programs such as this to entertain and instruct people how to have fun with R/C.
SCH has proven that there are no handicaps in having fun using R/C models.
The Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf was on hand today at Steel City Hobbies located in Bridgeville’s Great Southern Shopping Center. The school holds a camp for the deaf and hard of hearing children and chooses several events for the children to participate in from rafting to R/C racing. SCH was very happy to host this portion of the kids camp on Thursday, July 13, 2006. Nitro Mike Whittington, Mike Rooney, Conor McCaskey, Ron Grove and Mark Capobres were helping out with the event to help move things along smoothly. You will see a few pictures below that express what a great time everyone had with the R/C racing.
